Little Pines was founded in 2026 by Fiona David in partnership with the Municipality of North Middlesex.
The history of Little Pines started in the 1970s when Fiona's mother established a Montessori school in London. Little Pines builds on this legacy of thoughtful, child-centred care.
Today, Little Pines' Leadership Team has over fifty years of combined experience in early childhood education and have a strong commitment to high-quality, relationship-based care.

Little Pines participates in the One HSN centralized system used for childcare placements in London and Middlesex County. Families must apply through this waitlist in order to be considered for enrollment: https://london.onehsn.com/ux_2_0
When completing your application, please search for Parkhill Pinetree Preschool - your spot will automatically be transferred to the Little Pines waitlist.
Once a childcare space is offered and accepted, families will receive a complete enrollment package that includes required forms, our parent handbook, and detailed program information.
Fee reductions through the CWELCC program are applied to tuition.
Little Pines provides daily lunches and snacks, with menus shared monthly.
Communication between educators and families is primarily done through Lilio— allowing for consistent updates, messaging, and connection throughout the day.
